Global South Foundation, Inc. has made it its mission to build stronger families, by finding lost children quickly and returning them to their loved ones within 96 hours, wherever they may be in the East African Region. Other services in future will include advocating against and combating child labor, child exploitation, child abuse and enslavement.
Founders
Global South Foundation's Board of Directors comprises of individuals from Hampton Roads and other areas of the United States US Kenya Europe and other geographical locations. As a growing organization, we seek to expand to fulfill our mission of giving children in developing countries an opportunity to live dignified lives.
Our Mission
Global South Foundation, Inc. was founded out of a broad need to support community, cultural, economic and social programmes especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, with an emphasis on East Africa . Global South Foundation (abbreviated as GSF , Inc) recognizes the significant need of programs that address the needs of women and children, women empowerment, family cohesion and strengthening social, cultural and community links to build a stronger nation. Our primary concern will begin with children’s safety: lost, missing, exploited, neglected and abused children, finding and re-uniting these with their families, and providing temporary shelter before they find their families.
Global South Foundation, Inc, recognizes the need for promoting best practices especially in social programs in an increasingly globalized world. Global South Foundation, Inc. has made it its mission to building stronger families, promoting family cohesion and children safety, by finding lost children quickly and returning them to their loved ones within 96 hours, wherever they may be in the East African Region. Other services in future will include advocating against and combating child labor, child exploitation, child abuse and enslavement.
